RVE1, DBB1b, and COL2 Transcription Factors Are Responsive to Combined Stress by UV-B Radiation and Cold in Bell Pepper (Capsicum annuum)

Ultraviolet-B radiation (UV-B) and cold limit the growth development of plants, which generates changes in gene expression. This allows plants to respond stress through regulatory proteins, such as transcription factors, that activate or repress expression stress-response genes. RNA-Seq data WGCNA analyses were utilized identify hub Our study found a total 25, 24, 29 factors at different time points T1, T2, T3, respectively, under combined (ultraviolet-B cold). RVE1 (MYB-related), COL2 (CO-like), DBB1b (DBB) identified candidate Moreover, Gene Ontology (GO) Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) enrichment showed RVE1, DBB1b, mostly involved energy production, antioxidant system (enzymatic non-enzymatic), signaling abscisic acid CA2+, response light stimulus, cellular homeostasis. These findings provide basis for further investigation related UV-B mechanisms plants.
